FIRST LETTER FROM FLORIDA!

Hey! 

So this week has been really crazy!  

Tuesday was my first real missionary day... 

and I got my new comp/trainer he is Elder Oliver.  

He is from South Jordan UT.. 

he is a pretty cool guy. 

He took me around the area. 

I met some recent converts and some members just to get to know them.. it was cool. 

I met some recent converts.. Stroy and Marsha... 

they love the missionaries and they help us when we need it. 

On Wednesday we really got to work.. 

went around and tracked a bit and had some media referrals. 

We went to go see them no one was home.. 

all we really talked to were some part-members or members.  

Thursday we tried to get more people to see but everything was falling through.. 

and Elder Oliver got sick so that was pretty bad. 

He is still sick. 

Appointments have been dropping on us this week. 

But Friday was the worst day of all... 

oh ya i had a baptism already on Saturday...  

{oh ya i had a baptism???? typical Treavor}

Satan was really working hard on Friday to stop us. 

We needed to go get this couples signature for the baptism form things.. 

and we decided to ride our bikes.. even though 

we have the car. 

And I swear not even two blocks..  

(if there were blocks.. I hate the roads down here.. 

its is messing me up so bad.. 

everything has a name its horrible) 

But anyway we went two blocks my BRAND NEW BIKE breaks on me!  

I took it to a member that owns a bike shop in our area 

and he tells me that the rear derailer on the bike is defective 

and it was either the stores fault or the factory that made the part. 

So he's fixing it for me.. but he told me to call The Bike Shop and I did.. 

the guy pretty much said that I had to take the bike to them and they would judge to see if the bike 

actually had a problem ..  

He had a tone of voice that he didn't really care what happened. 

I can't take it to them cause its out of my area. 

But I should get my bike back from the member today.

And Mom can you call The Bike Shop to see if they will pay for the repairs? 

So that happened.. and all of our appointments dropped too.. so Friday sucked bad! 

Saturday we helped a non-member family move.. that was pretty cool. 

What was so awesome was that I found out that 

chickens love to eat frogs! 

We tried to move the non-members hot tub.. 

so we took off the cover and there was a frog was stuck in there and his legs were smashed by something..  

so they just grabbed the frog and gave it to their chickens... 

those chickens destroyed that frog.. 

it was so cool! 

But today was so amazing.. we had the baptism.  

We got there to fill up the font and Elder Oliver ended up turning a valve which turned on the fire alarm.. 

so the alarms were on for about an hour.. 

i was deaf after... 

but we got the font filled so it was good.

I gave the talk on the Holy Ghost which went well.. 

I met the bishop and I swear he looks exactly like Clark Kent.. its so funny. 

That was a great day and whats even better is 

the couple that was baptized have a daughter that is 9 

and she wants us to teach her. 

So we will start this week. 

We also got a new investigator yesterday.. 

and if we're lucky we can have him baptized close to the end of March. 

P.S MOM HAPPY BIRTHDAY ON THURSDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I will send you some stuff. 

I probably wont be able to do it till next P-Day.. sorry.. today got really crazy.

Treavor spent quite a few Christmases and birthdays in the hospital when he was little...

Dr. Rose was his doctor every time he was admitted...until he was about the age of 7 or so....SO WEIRD.
When Treavor was born...he was sent home from the hospital with a little blue suitcase that he had to sleep in because he was so jaundiced...THAT WAS FROM DOCTOR ROSE...

seriously...just stop....wow  
no like really....stop it....

Elder Green is in FLO--RIDA!!!

Elder Green arrived safely in Orlando yesterday around 3pm Utah time. 

Tai and I were treated to a HEAVENLY 50 minute conversation with him yesterday morning, while he was waiting at the SLC airport. 

It was so great to hear his happy voice... and I forgot how much I miss his laugh.

We talked about everything...including some of his MTC experiences to the Light of Elendil {google it}.

He said there were 13 missionaries flying to Florida with him... and that they had a "goodbye" devotional the night before where he said there were massive amounts of missionaries leaving..including 200 to California....TWO HUNDRED!!!

He kept saying how great everything was...how fast time was going.....and what a great experience he had at the MTC...He really got along well with Elder Jeppsen and his other room mates...

He sounded so happy and content. He also sounded confident and absolutely NO questioning what he was doing. 

He was excited to get to Florida...to get settled and try some new food (tummy issues..shhhh)

I tracked his flight online.. 
{Tai called me a stalker about 76 times..don't judge me Tai}

And once he landed safely I knew I wouldn't hear from him until next Monday....

BUT THEN...............

I happened to check my email and this little treasure was waiting for me!!

ALONG WITH THIS LETTER!

Hey.. so I made it here. It felt like a long flight.. but it really wasn't.. lol 

It's so nice here.. and a little too hot... but I have to get used to it quick pretty much. 

We got here.. met the mission president and his wife. (President and Sister Hall) They are so cool! 

We came back to the mission home and talked for a bit... took some pics and they fed us... it was really good food!! I was excited that it wasn't MTC food LOL 

It looks so amazing here right now.. we find out who our companions are tomorrow and everything else. I cant wait to start! So that's about it for Florida Day 1.

I will send letters as soon I can figure this place out...cause every street has a name not numbers or the block system like Utah...so this is going to be a fun experience.

 I have to go.. President Hall wants to have a meeting so... love you guys.

LAST MTC WEEK!

Hey! so this is my last p-day in the MTC it is too insane! It really doesn't feel like its been this long. It's so cool here. 

This week has been pretty cool. So many things have happened! 

Me and Elder Jeppson have had some great experiences. Our teachers say the Spirit is with us both all the time... we teach and it is just so amazing and so powerful that the teacher actually said...if they were real investigators they would be baptized on the spot if they could. I don't know what me and Elder Jeppson have exactly... its just so cool..i think its like a Force Bond... LOL... I had to say that....

It has been so amazing..and I just cant wait to get to Florida! 

So yesterday I FOUND ZAC (well technically he found me) We were at Breakfast and my back was turned from where he was i think... but he was about to leave and he saw me turn my head and he knew it was me... then he came towards me..but i didn't notice him until he was pretty much on me...lol.. but it was the same way as i found Tanner. He tackled me when i was in the chair.. and I was with my whole district and it was so awesome!! We talked for a bit.. it was the best!  That really made my day. I saw him also at lunch and talked a bit more. It was just so cool to see him. I wore the tie he gave me the first two days to try to find him... but I didn't.. which sucked.  

But this week has been so great.. I have some pics I'm sending on here..but I'm running out of time. 

I love all of you... keep writing me and have a good time!! 

The next time I talk to you I will be in Florida....that's insane!!
